1. A sign of infection is when there is 10% or over Bleeding on Probing (BOP).
2. The clinician must collect and compare all assessment data to the baseline at the re-evaluation appointment.
3. After the non-surgical periodontal therapy (NSPT), a re-evaluation appointment is scheduled for a six-month recall.
4. The bleeding on probing and recession should decrease in a successful non-surgical periodontal treatment outcome.
5. The current European Federation Guidelines recommend Supportive Periodontal Care (perio maintenance) tailored to patients' preferences rather than their risk profiles.
