Ms. Angela is a practicing dental hygienist with 28 years of clinical experience. She has worked at a periodontal office for 23 of those years. A graduate of Harper College in 1996, she has been fortunate to join the clinical faculty at Harper in 2016. She earned her bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from Southern Illinois University. As an educator, she has worked with first and second level students in clinic, taught pain management labs with the administration of local anesthesia and nitrous oxide, and holds a position as adjunct faculty for the advanced periodontics course. She has experience teaching with Periscope and guides students in various treatment planning sessions for periodontally involved patients. Current membership includes ADHA. She also volunteers at the CDS clinic. Angela enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and traveling.
